Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 13 May 2026. LuluStories works with affiliate partners who may promote our services in exchange for a commission. This page explains what that means for you as a visitor or customer, and what we require from our affiliate partners. We are committed to transparency in all commercial relationships.
What this means for you as a customer
If you arrived at LuluStories through a blog post, social media recommendation, YouTube video, or other content that contains an affiliate link, the person who shared that link may earn a small commission if you subscribe or make a purchase — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use an affiliate link or visit us directly.
Our editorial content and product decisions are not influenced by affiliate relationships. We only work with affiliates whose values align with ours and who promote LuluStories honestly and accurately.
Affiliate Compensation
Our affiliate partners receive compensation for referring subscribers. All affiliates are required to clearly disclose their commercial relationship in accordance with applicable marketing laws.
When you click on affiliate links or make a purchase through an affiliate's referral, the affiliate may earn a commission. This compensation helps support our affiliate partners while allowing us to reach new audiences.
Commissions are paid on qualifying subscriptions and purchases as defined in the affiliate agreement. Commissions are not paid on refunded or fraudulent transactions.
Commercial Nature of Affiliate Links
All affiliate links on our platform are commercial in nature. These links are designed to track referrals and enable compensation for our affiliate partners.
When you interact with affiliate links, cookies or tracking technologies may be used to attribute referrals to the appropriate affiliate partner. This tracking is essential for the affiliate program to function properly.
Disclosure Requirements
All affiliate partners are required to clearly and conspicuously disclose their commercial relationship with LuluStories when promoting our services.
Disclosures must be made in a manner that is easily understood by consumers and placed in a location where they are likely to be seen before or alongside any affiliate link or promotional content.
Failure to properly disclose affiliate relationships may result in termination from our affiliate program and could violate applicable marketing and advertising laws.
For Publishers and Affiliates
If you are an affiliate partner or publisher promoting LuluStories, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to ICC marketing guidelines, GDPR requirements, Swedish Marketing Act (marknadsföringslagen) requirements, and local advertising standards in your jurisdiction. If you are based in the United States, FTC disclosure guidelines also apply.
You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship in all promotional materials, including but not limited to blog posts, social media content, videos, emails, and any other marketing channels you use.
We reserve the right to monitor affiliate activities and terminate partnerships that do not comply with disclosure requirements or engage in deceptive marketing practices.
